Voice questions, answered
How does voice work?
You buy a phone number, assign a persona, and forward calls to your senderZ number. Inbound calls are answered by an AI receptionist in the persona's voice. After every call, Claude generates a summary and you receive an iMessage with the caller's name, intent, and a lead score.
What languages are supported?
English, Mexican Spanish, and Turkish. The AI auto-detects the caller's language and switches mid-call. Additional languages will be added over time without a schema change.
Are calls recorded?
Yes, by default. Recordings live in our storage for 90 days and you can play them back from the portal. Two-party-consent state callers always hear a TCPA disclosure at the start of the call. You can disable recording per tenant.
Can the AI transfer calls to a human?
Yes. When the caller asks for a person or the AI cannot resolve the request, the call is transferred to the number you configured in your persona. The destination is locked at the persona level — the AI cannot dial arbitrary numbers.
How does pricing work?
Voice is a separate add-on bundled into your messaging subscription. Starter is $29/mo (30 minutes), Growth is $99/mo (200 minutes), and Scale is $199/mo (500 minutes). Overage is $0.24 per minute. One invoice, two line items.
Is voice included in the trial?
No. Messaging starts with a 14-day free trial; voice is a paid add-on from day one. You can subscribe to voice during your messaging trial — billing for voice begins immediately.
Can I trigger calls programmatically?
Yes. POST /v1/calls accepts a destination, an optional persona override, and an optional script. Same authentication, same SDK, same conventions as the messaging API.
