Why We Built senderZ

We were developers building apps that needed to text customers. Simple requirement. But the reality was anything but simple.

Twilio's pricing was unpredictable — per-message fees plus number rental plus 10DLC registration meant we never knew what our bill would look like. Setting up a messaging service required navigating account SIDs, auth tokens, phone number provisioning, and messaging service configurations. And after all that? No iMessage support. Just SMS with carrier filtering and green bubbles.

We built senderZ because we believed there had to be a better way. One API call. One monthly price. iMessage first, with automatic SMS fallback — from the same endpoint. No carrier registration. No surprises.

Our Mission

We believe every developer and business should be able to send messages to their customers without overpaying, without fighting carrier bureaucracy, and without being limited to SMS.

senderZ is the messaging API we wish existed when we started. Simple for developers. Accessible for businesses. Affordable for everyone.

How It Works

senderZ routes messages through physical iPhones connected to a Mac Mini, powered by Cloudflare's global edge network. When you send a message, our system automatically detects if the recipient has iMessage. If yes, it delivers via iMessage — instant, encrypted, with read receipts. If not, it automatically falls back to SMS. iMessage is always the primary channel; SMS is the safety net.

This architecture means no carrier registration fees, no 10DLC hassle, and delivery speeds that traditional SMS APIs can't match.
