How it works

  1. Add senderZ in Zapier. Search for "senderZ" in the Zapier app directory and add it to your workspace.
  2. Authenticate with your API key. Paste your senderZ API key from the portal. Zapier stores it securely and uses it for all Zaps.
  3. Choose a trigger from any app. Pick any of Zapier's 6,000+ apps as the trigger — form submission, payment, CRM event, calendar booking, anything.
  4. Add "Send Message" action. Map recipient phone, message body (or template ID), and channel. Test the Zap, turn it on.

Use cases

Form submission → welcome text

When someone fills out a Typeform, Google Form, or Webflow form, Zapier fires a senderZ message with a personalized welcome and next steps. The recipient gets a blue-bubble iMessage within seconds of submitting.

Stripe payment → confirmation

When Stripe processes a payment, Zapier triggers a senderZ confirmation text. The customer sees the receipt in iMessage — no email to dig through, no app to open.

CRM status change → notification

When a deal moves stages in your CRM, Zapier sends the prospect a quick update via senderZ. Works with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close, and any CRM Zapier supports.

What you get

Send Message action

Send an iMessage or SMS from any Zapier trigger. Map recipient, body, and channel from trigger data. Templates supported.

Inbound Message trigger

Fire a Zap when senderZ receives an inbound message. Route replies to your CRM, helpdesk, or Slack channel.

Delivery Status trigger

Fire a Zap when a message is delivered, fails, or is read. Build real-time dashboards or escalation flows.

Template support

Reference senderZ templates by ID in your Zap action. Variables map from trigger data — no hardcoded message bodies.

Channel auto-routing

Set channel to "auto" and senderZ picks iMessage → RCS → SMS per recipient. Your Zap does not need to know which channel will deliver.

Frequently asked questions

Which Zapier plans work with senderZ?

All Zapier plans — Free, Starter, Professional, Team, and Company. senderZ triggers and actions use Zapier's standard REST hook infrastructure and do not require any premium Zapier feature.

Are there rate limits?

Zapier polls triggers every 1–15 minutes depending on your Zapier plan. senderZ webhook-based triggers (Inbound Message, Delivery Status) fire in real time with no polling delay. Send actions are subject to your senderZ plan's new-contact daily cap.

Can I use senderZ templates in Zaps?

Yes. In the Send Message action, choose "Use Template" and enter the template ID. Zapier maps trigger data to template variables. Missing variables return a typed error in the Zap log.

Does it support multi-step Zaps?

Yes. senderZ actions and triggers work in any position in a multi-step Zap. Use filters, delays, and paths as usual — senderZ sends or triggers at the step you place it.

Webhook vs polling — which does senderZ use?

senderZ uses REST hooks (webhooks) for all triggers. Zapier receives events in real time — no polling interval, no missed events between polls.
